It provides a comfortable cuddy cabin up front for those times you might want to catch a nap, or just get out of the weather. Completely refurbished in 1988 (including Dynel sheathing, the addition of the flybridge and complete motor rebuild) and very well maintained since, this Ward offers sleeping for 6, a nice LG fridge, two showers, Coleman BBQ, electric toilet, closed head with sink and vanity, Orion TV, CD player, dinette (convertible) and lounge. Further the vessel features a foldaway stern which doubles as a marlin board and allows easy access to the vessel through the stern. Inside the cabin there is evidence of good lighting, plus near new venetian window treatments and a suncover over the main screen. Living aboard is made easier by virtue of a very reliable GMC genset. This unit backs up the battery pack (topped up by solar panels) with an invertor for the 240 volt appliances. The 33 is powered up by a much loved and mothered Perkins diesel (well serviced and starts first turn of the keen everytime) which pushes the vessel along at 9 knots cruise using miserly quantities of fuel, Both driving stations function well and the current owner makes frequent use of both the upper and lower wheels. With 600 litres of fuel (giving this vessel a massive range and 500 litres of water on hand, the Ward is well set up for extended cruising and regularly does Perth Rottnest.  At $29,500 this is a very inexpensive option for a family looking to go boating together and stay aboard. Certainly there is plenty of elbow room and the extended flybridge platform over the deck with the side curtains encourages use of the ample cockpit for fishing, taking in the sights or a few chardonnays. Call us on the toll free number 1300 309 567 for more information on the Ward, or use the "enquiry tool" below  to register your details and we'll be in touch. So, the vessel is versatile, easy to handle and sail and light enough to make it a snack to tow behind most cars. (remember to include the stock number) View Listing > Stessl 530 Cray Boat Survey 3C.....Budget All Purposes FishoWhere has this nicely kept and maintained Alf Stessl 5.30 Truck been and what has it been doing? you might ask! Well, the owner has used the boat for cray fishing, for longlining and net casting off the Victorian coast and in the bays and inlets. Equipped with a pot hauler with a capstan these's not much you can't go after with the Stessl. I see the boat as being ideal for the retired bloke who would like to catch some serious fish or crays or for commercial use in applications where a larger vessel is not required......Certainly the pricing makes an alloy warhorse like this one very attractive. The Stessl boats are constructed to last and for seaworthiness and stability (see the chine pods at the stern). Without doubt the Stessl name is instantly recognisable amongst the boating community and the marque has an excellent reputation. This ally is powered up with a Suzuki 4 stroke 90HP four banger fuel supplied via "carry aboard" 25 litre tanks (all you need in this case) and sparked up by twin HD batteries. In the past the boat was equipped with an auxillary, which the owner now has on his new vessel. This would need to be replaced to put the boat back into 3C (once gain at this price a second hand auxillary would not seem to be a major problem). As I explained above the vessel does have a pot winch with a capstan, use full for all pulling or retrieving operations, including raising the anchor. Further you will see a net shute (which also has a gutting board which is not shown) and "bull horns" for guiding ropes etc. The Stessl comes complete with a full compliment of safety gear including an EPIRB and rides on a drive on drive off (making one man handling a breeze) single axle trailer, which is currently registered. Considering the history of the boat and the current condition one could feel completely confident  venturing almost anywhere in search of a good catch and once again in light of the price we do not expect this one to last terribly long. So, call Rob or Ian now on the toll free number 1300 309 567 for more information or to arrange an inspection. Or, use the "enquiry tool" below to register your details and we'll be in touch. These cover both commercial and private use functions and to this time we have not fielded a complaint about the builder's work or finish. This particular vessel has been built to cover a multitude of applications and will go into either D or E survey classes (extra cost involved). Naturally as this is a new vessel and the builder is selling the boat, interested parties have the option of adding to the spec with any number of additions or variations (to the hull, electronics and motors) So, the longboat may become the starting point for a much more advanced version of what a buyer may envisige for himself, or remain the budget buy it is. At 30 feet long and 7'6" beam this is a big platform for fishing or commercial work, further the vessel only draws 0.2 of a metre. So, huge potential here, for more information use the toll free number 1300 309 567 to contact Ian or Rob. Or use the "enquiry tool" below to register your details, and we'll be in touch. View Listing > Sharkcat 23 Twin 175 Suzuki Four Strokes The original, the Bruce Harris story is well known. In 1972 he began producing a range of cats , which were smooth riding and able to cross bars and entrances like nothing else available at the time. Rescue and other commercial operations jumped on the bandwagon as the reputation of these vessels grew. This 1981 Sharkie had an engine refit in 2005 and was repowered with twin Suzuki 175 HP four strokes which have also built themselves a large following in a very short time. These "Suzis" have 460 litres of fuel at their demand and are sparked up by twin batteries with isolator switching. The vessel has two GPS units a Furuno GE 400 and a Navman 5505 with a plotter, a Raymarine DS 600 colour sounder and VHF radio. The "Sharkie" has a rocket launcher, extensive seating, rod holders, all the safety gear including a 406 EPIRB and the usual acres of usable cockpit deck space. The rig rides on a registered (July 2009) triaxle drive on, drive off, King trailer with electric over hydraulic brakes. This vessel would suit a multitude of uses, namely as a workboat, or a charter vessel (dolphin watching whale watching or perhaps even fishing) or as a private fisho. The fact that this cat was in 2C for 7+1 (just lapsed) and will go back into that survey class, opens up all sorts of possibilities. (remember to include the stock number) View Listing > Airib 6.2 Honda 4 Stroke Power....2C Survey 12 + 2Now Reduced Owner Says Sell!Airib is the evolution of the Naiad brand, made by a company who have been building RIB's since 1988. Naiad has been a successful and popular product with features carried on to the new brand name. These RIB's are different in many ways to most other products in this category. Firstly the hull is alloy and a complete welded hull with gunwhales and sealed decks. This feature enhances durability and protects the sponsons both from inside and out. The sponsons or pontoons are also a well engineered and designed arrangement with and outer skin and inner air tubes. Because there are several airtubes not connected to one another, one can be pierced or punctured and the others will just take up the space released and thus bouyancy is not compromised. These units are also low pressure and easy maintenance. This centre console styled vessel has a four stroke Honda 90HP as the main power unit and an 8 HP Yamaha as the auxillary (two motors required for 2C survey) The RIB also has a twin battery setup (also required for 2C survey) with a switch. The vessel will cruise all day at 20 knots without emptying a 100 litre tank.  The vessel has been fitted out with a full cockpit bimini, foldaway rear lounge which has a swing away HD dive ladder incorporated. The cockpit space can be opened up beautifully for diving or fishing, but there is ample provision for a decent crew to get themselves seated if needs be. The driver has a Furuno 7000 GPS/plotter/sounder unit and VHF radio installed at the driving station leaving the console with space and an uncluttered feel. The unit rides on a registered  tandem axle Dunbier trailer with spare and hand winch (although most will simply dive this vessel on and off). The Airib was originally utilised as a university dive research boat and then a rig tender and as such is a very capable boat. The current owner uses it privately but has kept up the survey and the rig will be sold in 2C. This Rib has a multitude of uses and is good to go. Commercial or private buyers will all find applications for this vessel so call rob or Ian now on the toll free number 1300 309 567 for more information, or use the "enquiry tool" below to register your details and we'll be in touch.
