Gymea is an absolute classic. She was built in 1922 by Hayes Bros and completely refurbished in 1998/1999. In April 2000 was crowned Fastest Gaffer on the Swan in Perth. Gymea is the only 21 with the original Gunter rig. In 2001 and 2003 Gymea beat all other 21s in the Milang to Goolwa Race in SA. Gymea is one of the countrys best examples of our yacht racing heritage.
