�Myambla� means �I like it here. I will return�(Northern NSW Aboriginal) This 55 foot ferro ketch with cutter rig has 10 sails (recently ovehauled) and is an easy boat to sail. She was built and then managed by two people since her launch date 26 years ago. Has all new halyards, all Barlow bronze winches, half inch chains (2x50m regalvanized ), 3 anchors (plough, sand & Admiral), electric (Neilsson) plus manual (Hercules) anchor winches. There are two spinnaker poles for wing-wing downwind cruising and she has Alspar masts & booms. Both masts can be lowered for passage under bridges! Has 5 headsails plus staysail on SS forestays, hanked on. All sails have been kept out of sun except when sailing. Other rigging (galv.) in good to excellent condition. This ia a very safe, overbuilt rig. Covered center cockpit with large deck entertainment area aft. Powered by a Ford 590 E series 6 cyl main with Paragon hyd. gearbox plus Yanmar water cooled 7hp genset. All mechanical gear in top condition with lots of spares. New battery banks.(2006), Navman 3100 sounder, Coursemaster 250 (electric) autopilot, VHF, SSB HF. Danforth 6� Constellation compass. VDO Sumlog. No radar or plotter. There is accomodation for 7 in comfort (2 double cabins + 3 separate single berths) and below deck is very spacious with lots of light and is well ventilated. Ensuite with second toilet (both electric). Very spacious saloon and has all the gear required for seven people. (Cutlery, sheets etc). Galley has 4 burner gas stove plus grill, Microwave oven and a freezer and separate fridge. There is also a workshop with heaps of storage. There is some varnished timber work inside, but Myambla is not a woody dark cavern. Cork tiled floors with carpet in sleeping areas. Carries approx 5500 L of water and approx 1000 L of fuel. Deck awnings, some safety gear, dinghy and outboard plus lots of tools, fenders, heaps of mooring and anchor ropes etc are also included. Recently lifted with hull cleaned, some skin fittings/valves renewed, new anodes, antifouling (Sept/Nov. 06). Hull (acrylics) and deck (recoatable polyurethane�s) freshly painted.
