First launched 2005 and still looking new, this Cat has superior stability at high and low speed and is the ultimate in boating pleasure. Aimed at the commercial and leisure market the 7500 was engineered to suit offshore sport fishing & commercial operations. Proven performance in rough water, the 7500 provides the ultimate platform for all weather operations including search and rescue. The Extreme 7500 is designed to exceed survey requirements and delivers outstanding comfort for all conditions. All Westcat boats are built to the highest standards using the most up-to-date building techniques and highly skilled personnel with many years experience in the construction of fibreglass commercial and pleasure craft. The materials are the finest available and all resins and glasses are Lloyds approved. Hulls are hand crafted using NPG isothalic gelcoat and a Dericane vinylester tie layer. Two layers of double bias stitched fabric overlapped on all knuckles and chine lines with chopstrand mat incorporated between layers are used on the hull. The high impact areas below the floor and forward are Airtex foam cored. Each boat incorporates 12 bulkheads including 2 crash bulkheads and 6 oversize cross beams. All bulkheads and the oversize cross beams are solid glass incorporating biaxial and triaxial stitched fabrics and are hand glassed into position for maximum strength. The floor is solid glass construction and is hand glassed to the hull and beams to provide 14 watertight compartments. Two forward crash bulkheads are hand glassed in place and the top deck is hand glassed to the hull. This ensures an extremely strong, rigid but light weight boat
