OPEN TO OFFERS!!  This stunning Crowther 50 was built to survey standards and chartered in Western Australia until March 2003. She is in class 1B for 10 berthed passengers and 2 crew to 100 nautical miles offshore and 1C, for 30 passengers and 2 crew to 30 nautical miles of safe anchorage or 30 NM offshore. This survey lapsed in 2003 but can be easily restored of required. She is now used purely for pleasure. Constructed of 20mm foam wiht 3 layups of fibreglass each side of the foam core. The design incorporates slide through centre boards in each hull and below skeg approximately 6 metre long, plated with stainless steel for sitting on the ocean floor. Recent major upgrades include new sails in 2005, new hull paint 2004, new deck area awning, halyards and trampolines in 2006. There are two integral hull fuel tanks in each hull plus two external long range reserve tanks with a total holding capacity of 1130 litres allowing over 900 nautical miles motoring between 8 & 8.5 knots. Each hull has its own head with shower, hand basin, TMC electric toilet, shaving cabinet and power points. Toilets flush to sullage holding tanks fitted with 12 volt electric diaphram disharge pumps or to overboard for ocean cruising. Hot water is supplied to heads and galley by an 80 litre electric hot water system. Adjoining the galley in the starboard hull is a workshop, laundry and freezer room, housing a WAECO Coolmatic 12 volt refridgerator, Dometic front laod 240volt washing machine, 2.9CV motor, freezer with eutectic tanks refridgerated by compressor on main engine plus 240 volt freezer compressor. The galley also has a built in freezer run by the same refridgeration system. There is one queen size berth, two double berths and three singles. Galley has a two burner Tudor Marine stainless steel stove with grill and oven and an NEC 240volt microwave. The galley also has stainless steel bench tops, a large pantry and huge storage cupboards as well as below floor storage and a large sink. The saloon is fitted with a Fujitsu reverse cycle 240 volt air conditioner, Sharp TV and Video player, a Conia M550 DVD player plus a Pioneer 50w x 4 AM Fm radio with two internal speakers and four external speakers. There is also a builtin ice chest and bar cupboards, Sheoak table and timber trimmings. She has 240 volt shorepower and a Pagouro 6000 diesel generator with a 6 KVA - 5kw continuous power output powered by a 6.5 kw Lombardini Marine diesel with auto cut offs and remote control panel. Also fitted is a 12 volt - 240 volt power inverter with 12 volt input, 240 volt output at 50 hz output frequency. She has a Citor 1500I 240 desalinator which produces 80 litres of fresh water per hour, fitted with a new membrane in July 2006. The desalinator is linked to the Pot hull storage tank of approximately 400 litres. There is a second water storage tank in the starboard hull, alos approximately 400 litres. Electronics include an Autohelm ST50 plus depth, wind and speed gauges, Coursemaster CM600 auto pilot integrated to GPSwith fitted Flexgate compass conected to Hy-Drive Hydraulic steering system with two recently serviced rams. GPS is a Siewa Explorer Mk11 connected to Hewlett Packard color screen with C-map NT user friendly program intregrated with Coursemaster auto pilot. Has a JRC JMA 2141 24nm radar with the antenna mounted on the rear targa beam. Sounder is a Furuno FCV666 color with brassthrough hull transducer mounted forward of the through hull centre boards. Thhe sounder is dual frequency 50khz and 200 khz abd has a large range of functions. Has a Icom HF radio, a Raymarine VHF radio and satellite phone aerial wired to the saloon. The vessel is fitted with a sentinal combustable gas and vapour monitor. Two new Volvo Penta MD22L diesels were fitted in 2000 and drive 120S saildrives and 3 blade folding propellors. She is fitted The mast and riggin was supplied by Tasker Sails. The 56 foot mast carries a 5 batten main with three reefing points, a staysail and a genoa with Profurl reefing gear operated at the cockpit.
