This fast ferry is very special in that she is the only ferry (or vessel for that matter) that can operate at full speed in any area of the Swan River in Western Australia!! This is because she has been specially built to create "no wake" and therfore does no environmental damage. Launched 2001, this River ferry is powered by twin Cummins 8.3 litre B series diesels which will allow her to cruise at 25 knots (loaded) She carries 3000 litres of diesel and 500 litres of water.
