The Haines 680 hull is legendary in the Australian leisure boating industry, and this layout with the cuddy is unusual. You will only need to check out the photographs, to see that this vessel has been set up for serious fishing. Check out the tackle storage drawers, alloy hardtop with front and side clears, rocket launcher, bait prep area, observation tower, plumbed live bait tank, underfloor kill tank,  slimey tubes, and deck and docking flood lights, all business. Electronics include a Lowrance GPS, Raymarine autopilot, Furuno Sounder and ICOM VHF and GME 27 meg radios, an excellent setup for bluewaters off Bermagui or the shelf out the back of Rottnest. The vessel was repowered in 2006 with an Evinrude 200HO ETEC power unit, and I'm hearing excellent reports on these Bombardier motors fellas, cheap to service and very fuel efficient (comparable figures to the four strokes, but quicker off the mark and lighter). This unit has only clocked up 165 hours.
