"The Nicholls" is currently going through a refurb and boasts a new lockable wheelhouse with sliding door and windows and $15,000 has been outlayed on the engine and leg (all work carried out by an authorized Volvo agent). This vessel with it's super 2.9 metre beam, massive cockpit, economical diesel power, wide nonslip side decks for easy access to the nose and non slip cockpit floor is rugged reliable and well suited to any type of harbour work, or fishing/diving charters. Propulsion is provided by a Volvo Penta AQAD 41 diesel driving a duoprop leg, the fuel source a 400 litre tank. Twin batteries with an isolator switch provide the spark for the Volvo and power up the Navman GPS, sounder, spotlights and cabin lighting. The vessel also boasts a raw water deck wash down, rod holders, safety grab rails everywhere. This Promarine has been in 2C for 12 + 2 and is currently in 2D and all the safety gear required for this level of survey will be aboard when "The Nicholls" is sold. The vessel rides on a registered tandem axle trailer. Not too many 7.5 metre plate alloy vessels available in survey, so this is a unique opportunity.
