There are plenty of alloy cuddy cabs around at over 6 metres, very few under the 5 metre mark, so this Savage Scorpion is a very welcome listing. All Savage alloy boats are beautifully finished, well constructed and last forever. The feature that appeals to me is the walkthru windscreen with the big hatch, allowing the operator to anchor, standing on the cabin floor, rather than  slipping around on a wet deck. This vessel is a 1997, but rarely used and always kept under cover, washed down carefully after each use, flushed out regularly and serviced...... in fact, only 150 hours, pristine and a credit to the owner. Powered up by the ever reliable and economical Mercury 75 HP fed by a 60 litre underfloor tank, the Savage will cruise along nicely at 20 to 25 knots, and even pull the kids on the water toys. The Scorpion features fold down rear quarter seats, huge storage pockets, all stainless steel fittings, rod holders, a bimini with front and side clears, a storm cover and a large baitboard. Two batteries with an isolator switch spark up the humminbird sounder, a 27 meg radio and a radio cassette system for a little entertainment. The vessel rides on a single axle Mackay trailer with catwalks and a spare wheel, and the vessel carries the full compliment of safety gear including an EPIRB.
