This 8 metre Trihull is available as a new build, with many variations in size, hull configuration, survey and powerup available, though as displayed and described, the vessel is priced at $100K plus GST (the vessel shown is already sold). Boatlocator has sold several of this manufacturer's boats and never had a problem or a complaint. In this case the builder has surveyed the vessel for 2D although it can be upgraded to 2C without problems. The tri is capable of handling deckloads of between 2 and 3 tonne and with a massive beam of 3 metres, lends itself to a myriad of possibilities. This unit is powered by a 150 HP Yamaha 4 stroke outboard (fed by twin 150 litre tanks) which enables cruise speeds of around 25 knots, topping out at 33 knots. The vessel only draws 300 mm and that will not vary a great deal even when loaded. Electronics are a basic fitout, the builder preferring to allow the first owner to suit his own purposes by specifying more sophistcated electronic gear if needs be. As displayed, the vessel has a VHF radio and Humminbird sounder. This rig rides on a custom built alloy drive on/drive off trailer, with IRS axles and electric over hydraulic brakes. The vessel (with it's 3 metre beam) may be towed in all states with a permit, in most states the permit is free.
