The Savage Defender is the complete summer package. At 5.5 metres this family fun machine is set up with a Mariner 135HP motor, big enough to tow a skier and not so large that it costs the earth to run. The Mariner is fed by a 140 litre tank and is sparked up by twin batteries with an isolator switch, whilst hydraulic steering provides ease of control. These Defenders have a huge nose hatch and walk through screen allowing the anchorman to walk right up to the anchoring station, and to manipulate the pic whilst standing safely on the boat's floor......great idea! Electronics are well provided for and include a Navman colour GPS and chart plotter, a Furuno FLC 600 sounder and a VHF radio.Fishos will not only find several rod holders, a live bait tank, a kill tank and a baitboard but also a pot puller, properly set up with a gunwhale guard (why not give the crays a scare too) The vessel will be sold with a complete inventory of safety gear including an EPIRB.
