The Parmelia is set up for lifting and deploying marine equipment, the vessel can accommodate 19 staff.  Onboard are 4 x 15,000 litre tanks with circulating water to carry out any aquaculture transport or the tanks can be used to relocate bilge water or contaminated liquids from a marine environment.  The vessel has been modified to take a 3 tonne A-frame on the stern with winch midships for deep water deployment and retrieval.  This vessel is suited for dive support, environmental work and has the capacity to deploy moorings and heavy equipment from the rear deck.  The vessel is fitted with a hyab and can carry 16 tonnes on the deck.
