Modular sections which can be linked to gether on end, or side by side, to make as large a floating dock or work station as is required. These units have been used on such projects in Melbourne as the Bolte bridge and the tunnels. The owner will split up the inventory here but for an operator wanting the entire package, the stats are as follows.

Large sections have watertight compartments and inspection hatches

All sections rated to 80 Tonne

All sections road transportable

The owner is in the process of refurbishing all segments, he is underatking any repairs required and is then sandblasting and painting these units. The cost of each unit finished off in this way is $65K. Delivered to the new owner repaired only and in seaworthy condition will be $40K per section.

The photographs at the foot of the display show the last section of this barge, beached and being dissassembled for the renovation mentioned above. You will note the work space created when several of these units are joined and the way in which they are joined.
