I have extolled the virtues of these brilliant Websters on many occassions on this site. With their heavy duty plate construction, sealed sponsons, self draining sole, single motor fitup for weight saving and economy and their ability to fight way outside their weight division, these boats are a fantastic choice for the bloke who doesn't want massive fuel bills for the car or the boat, wants to be able to tow with any Australian sedan and fish almost anywhere he likes. This 2003 "webbie" is powered up with one of those nice V4 115 Yamahas (quiet and fuel efficient) fed by a 100 litre tank. This setup is good for 25 knot cruising and will top out at over 35 knots. The Websters have a walk thru screen for easy access to the anchoring station, a foldaway rear bench seat, long side pockets and excellent storage under the seats (and elsewhere). This vessel is also well served in the fishing department with baitboard, plumbed live baitwell, plenty of rod holders, nice high coamings and grab rails in the cockpit. Like most vessels setup for fishing "Water Hog" has GPS, sounder, VHF radio, EPIRB and in this case a very handy fuel flow meter. The Twinfisher has a targa as part of the bimini setup (handy for lights and further electronic componetry) which includes front and side clears and an extended section over the cockpit area. This rig like many of the Websters rides on a Ruhle trailer with protective spats for the leading edges of the sponsons and a walkway to assist with launch and retrieval especially on windy days. Naturally apart from the EPIRB I have already mentioned, Water Hog also has a full compliment of safety gear and both reef and sand anchors. So good to go here boys we just need fuel, baited hooks and a new skipper.
