The best Whaler available, and the best priced

Rarely have I listed a vessel with an inventory as impressive as this superb Boston Whaler........Just a magnificent boat! If I thought I could get this absolute ripper up my driveway without winding up divorced, it would not have even been listed. Let's start at the beginning. Boston Whaler have a worldwide reputation for producing class boats, the catchcry being firstly their unsinkability (if there is such a word). These vessels are constructed with foam filling between two solid walls of fibreglass. You can cut a whaler in half and the boat will float (that has to fill you with confidence when you're out wide)and that construction technique leads to well insulated fishboxes for enhanced preservation of your catch. Further should the vessel be swamped, the density of the foam insulation ensures that the vessel will float level.....you'll be wet but safe! The Conquest models also feature an elevated driving position allowing the skipper impressive allround vision and control. The walkaround styling allows the dedicated fisho to work every inch of the boat in a tight tussle. The Conquest also provides the owner with a vessel which is not only an impressive bluewater fishing athlete but also a very comfortable cruiser with all the trappings expected for stay aboard overnight or weekends or longer and in this case  .....more! Berths for four, hot and cold showers, vacuum flush toiler with holding tank, fully equipped galley (sink, electric stove, microwave, fridge) nicely finished benchtops and dinette and classy looking easy care teak floors (more practical when sailors have wet feet), Clarion CD, DVD, flat screen Sharp TV, locking cabin and the clincher....Cruisair 7000 BTU reverse cycle air conditioning....I think I could get comfortable in those surroundings. The cockpit is a fishos paradise. Stainless steel rod holders and rocket launcher, 2 kill tanks with macerator pumps and drains, 24 gallon live baitwell, bait prep station, tackle drawer, coaming rod storage, receptacles for electric reels and downriggers, cockpit foldaway bench and raw water deck washdown. Whilst on the fishing gear let's not forget the TACO Grand Slam aluminium outriggers and spreader lights or the cockpit spotlighting set up on the hardtop......think I could catch a fish in that enviroment! Step up to the driving station and you're  presented with another first class setup. The hardtop is supplemented with front and side clears and a complete rear curtain, ensuring good protection from the elements.  The instrument pod itself is well positioned with a very simple but complete electronic presentation including Raymarine E80 colour 72 mile Radar, colour sounder, GPS plotter with platinum charts, Raymarine SPX30 autopilot with ST 70 control, Sirius SAT radio, Icom M604A DSC VHF radio with weather distress and hailer and Mercury Marine Smartcraft DTS electronic engine controls. That is a very comprehensive array. This 2007 305 is powered up with a pair of Verado 250HP 4 strokes (serviced Feb 2010) with just 220 hours up. The "Mercs" cruise beautifully at 26 MPH and will the vessel will hit over 40 MPH at full throttle. I have already mentioned the Smartcraft management system which leaves hydraulic steering, electronic trim tabs, electronic digital morse controls and the automatic "Fireboy" fire management sytem which complete the engine inventory. A Kohler 3.6KW diesel generator heads the electrical department and as the vessel was originally equipped for 120 Volt a step down isolation transformer has been fitted to handle Australia's 240 volt supply on shore power. 4 heavy duty batteries with a Guest 30 amp charger system, a 50' shore power cable and Perko switches ensure that sufficient electrical power supply in all circumstances is assured. The list of features doesn't stop here and it doesn't really matter where you look the inventory seems to be endless, from self inflating life jackets and EPIRB to electric horn, Loftans Project windlass with capstan (very handy), dock lines, fenders, windshield wipers and nose spotlight. Ensuring that this package is as versatile as it could be is the inclusion of a 2008 "I" beam triaxle trailer with electric hydraulic brakes and built to take any vessel up to 15,000 LBS. The next owner has the enviable option of keeping this beauty in a berth or on the trailer without the costs associated with penned boats. So at the end of the day, you're buying a beautifully appointed day cruiser and a lethal fishing weapon all wrapped up in one well maintained and presented package.
