Fabulous Princess....Air Conditioned....Low Hours

Drawn to a comparison between offroad vehicles and offshore vessels, the Princess marque is the Range Rover of offshore cruisers. Built to exacting standards with not the slightest indication of compromise on fitout anywhere in the boat.  The new owner can expect this vessel to lift onto the plane in a thrice (a consequence of a modified deep V hull, large chines and tunnell mounted prop shafts improving propellor efficiency) and to handle extended coastal cruising comfortably and if needs be... at speed. Naturally the new owner can also expect that whatever purpose he puts the Princess to, he can relax in airconditioned comfort with all the comforts of a land based castle at his or her disposal.  A well insulated engine room and motors on flexible mounts cut out noise and vibration and enhance the experience whilst an automatic plant room fire suppression system and automatic bilge pumps with manual over-ride provide a reassuring feeling that safety has been well taken care of. In this case the motors are highly desirable Cat 408HP units each fed by it's own tank with a total of 1364 litres at hand. The Princess will cruise comfortably for extended periods at 22 to 25 knots and top out at over 30. Two double cabins both with en-suite bathrooms provide luxury accomodation for four though heaps of potential exists for sleeping a number of other tired sailors. The galley with it's avonite benchtops will be worthy of any Masterchef Australia finalist, dedicated pantry, fridge freezer, 3 burner stove and microwave all on hand. The saloon and living areas of the Princess are all laid out with an open plan giving a feeling of spaciousness and the delightful timber fitout (every section with at least 12 coats of laquer). You get the feeling that you just want to invite the close aquaintances over and just sit in those enticing surroundings, sip a chardonnay or two without bothering to even start the engines. Even the bridge deck has  space for the Davis Cup team and their wives, thoughtfully laid out, sunpads, bimini front, side and rear clears, two person helm bench and state of the art dash and electronics. Add bowthruster, Onan generator, electric anchor winch, electronically raised and lowered duckboard, digital electronic engine controls, emergency tiller and porthole covers, fenders, warps, manuals for everything and as they say in the classics, "everything in it's place and a place for everything" and you're good to go. I could have written "War and Peace" when describing this vessel and the list of standard fitted items and options is long, but I have so much usable space and ....that's it!
