Unique Cuddy Cab Style

Why are these Websters so popular? here are the facts;

1.    The stability that only a cat has

2.    The rough water handling that only a cat has

3.    Plate alloy and sealed sponsons, safe and light to tow

4.    Self draining Deck well suited to offshore conditions

5.    One motor, very economical  again reduced weight

6.    Easy to launch, retrieve and tow

Most Webster owners are reluctant to part with their boats and usually unusual circumstances force the sale, and that is the case here, creating a unique opportunity for someone wanting a "fisho" safe for the whole family and cheap to look after and operate. This 2004 5.2 is unique, not too many cuddy cabs around, and this boat has been further customised with special seat boxes with heaps of storage, custom bimini framework and all powder coated (as is the hull for that matter) She is powered up with a Mercury 115 Optimax with just 160 hours, controlled by Baystar hydraulic steering. These Optimax exhibit all the best characteristics of a four stroke, but are lighter and quicker "out of the hole". This one is fed by twin 100 litre tanks (200 litres) and the owner tells me that he can get from Cairns to Mackay on his tanks with fuel left over.  The whole shooting match is overseen by the Smartcraft gauge/engine management system (connected to the GPS). This gives moment to moment readouts on fuel usage, oil usage etc. The vessel is well equipped electronically with Navman 5600 Tracker GPS/Plotter, JRC FF 50 full colour sounder (GPS capable), full Australia card for the GPS, VHF and 27 meg radios and an AM/FM radio. She offers the fisherman a custom made baitboard, plumbed live bait tank, rod holders, rocket launcher, lighted cockpit area, excellent stowage for all the fishing gear and the big blue 95 litre esky you see in the photos comes with the boat. Add full carpeting, bimini on a custom powdercoated frame, a storm cover, engine cowl cover (new) and a cuddy big enough for a couple to sleep in and this is some sort of 5.2 metre fishing machine. She has all the safety gear including a new digital EPIRB and rides on a single axle with hydraulic disc brakes, ful rego and a hand winch, which the owner never uses, too easy to drive on and drive off, only takes five minutes at the boat ramp. There wont be too many of these listed so take the opportunity to own this ripping boat now.
