This 50 foot Randell with elevated helmsmans station, galley, hot water, toilet with new macerator, sleeping for 11 (and heaps of room for extras) and a superb work deck is in 2C survey for 10 + 2 (50 nautical miles). She is capable of staying out on extended trips with 2 large freezers, one 2750 litre below deck and a 1000 litre on deck with ice making facility. Powered up by a Cat 3406B 300 KW with just 1500 hours, the Randell has 3000 litres of fuel at it's disposal (also carries 1000 litres of fresh water). Using a mere 25 litres at cruise (10 knots) allows a 1200 nautical mile range.....that should give operators some flexibility. Electrical power is provided by 2 sets of two battery banks, 2 batterys for the house and instruments (new May 2009), a 25 KVA Isuzu 3 cylinder generator (with new emergency shut down system) and shore power with a 24/12 inverter on hand where needs be. So operators will have 12/24/240 at their disposal. Navigational fitout is impressive with a Keiki  PR100 autopilot, JRC JMA-2141 raster scan radar, Garmin map 200 GPS, Lorenz Starlight Pro C-Map with GME 45cm screen, Furuno colour video sounder, Codan 8121 HF marine transceiver, GME Electophone VHF radio, GME CX 558A VHF radio and a GR 968 marine am/fm radio CD-MP3 player............seriously the fish don't stand a chance with that setup. I have already mentioned the accomodation available aboard and the freezer facilities but should add the fact of the four burner hooded cooker which should cook up a nice feed for a hungry crew and fishos and the new bar fridge on the bridge. Readers, this vessel was antifouled in November 2010 had new anodes fitted at the same time and was resurveyed in July 2010.
