fully rigged for game fishing and overnighting
Don't wanna outlay $300K on a blue water battle wagon? then take a close look at this well maintained and equipped Cresta. Powered up with twin 330HP Iveco AIFO 8060 SRM 33 turbo-supercharged engines with counter rotating props were new in 2002 and have only clocked up 2500 hours Cruise at 18 knots and tops out at 26). The 20 x 20 stainless steel 4 blade props were new in Oct 2008 and driven through two ZF transmissions IRM 220A with a 1.5:1 ratio. Propulsion is enhanced with power hydraulic steering, high speed bearing skegs and Bennett retractable trimtabs....now that's a very nice setup. 2 x 550 litre stainless steel dedicated fuel tanks with Racor filtration provide the diesel supply and 2 x 200 litre fibreglass tanks hold the fresh water supply whilst a 150 litre keel tank supplies hot water heated via the engines. A 38 litre stainless steel marine hot water unit is fitted forward. No problem staying out there, the Cresta will sleep 7, keep them showered and washed in the enclosed head with electric toilet which offers the choice of external discharge or a holding tank and feed them via a galley setup which includes a 12/240 volt fridge, sink, microwave and gas cooktop/oven. Even when they're not biting a 12/240 volt colour TV/VHS player with a GME amplified antenna and a Sony stereo system with a 10 stack CD player with 12 speakers will keep the fishos entertained. The saloon area also has a radio com area with GME 27 meg, GME VHF, Wagner 2 meg HF, a Seiwa monochrome GPS/plotter C-Map NT+ and a fixed compass for reference. The flybridge on this cruiser has a hardtop and front, side and rear clears (new in 2007). Further the command station features a Seiwa colour GPS plotter with C-map NT+, JRC 1 KW colour sounder, sea surface water temperature guage, fixed steering compass, GME 27 meg radio, Navman VHF radio, Coursemaster autopilot with rudder indicator, bilge alarm monitoring station and a Reelax sliding helm chair......the skipper isn't going to want to leave the bridge! Now to the self draining cockpit and fishing setup. This vessel provides a spacious workdeck area, nice thigh height coamings and clear work space. The rear of the flybridge has a rocket launcher easily accessible from the deck and there are another 11 stainless steel rod holders positioned expertly around the gunwhales. You will see the spigot in the middle of the cockpit for the Reelax 80lb Black game chair which has cushions and a harness. A pair of Reelax 6.5 metre outriggers with a shotgun centre rig get those lures swimming beautifully. Further the cockpit on the Cresta offers a large capacity fibreglass bait tank (built into the transom) with an engine driven Johnson electro-magnetic clutch pump system. There will be two tuna tubes with Rule 3700 GPH pumping system, both salt and fresh water deck hose, berley pot, transom door and hot and cold deck shower....... Now you have to be impressed with that layout! But that's not all! I haven't even touched on the ceiling rod racks (see photographs) the portable gas BBQ, the lockup cabin with secure sliding doors, the full compliment of safety gear including an EPIRB and 35 pound CQR anchor with Muir electric windlass, the 6 man life raft, shore power, 240 volt inverter (1500 watt output) or the bilge alarms with Rule float activated submersible pumps.
All of this for $128K ....................what a buy!
