4 Stroke Suzuki Design Approval for Survey 

This Cat was specifically designed and built for Fishing and Boating Magazine. The completed hull was shipped to ADM for finishing in acordance with F & B's very strict instructions. The boat has design approval for survey and in accordance with the requirements for survey has two watertight collision bulkheads in each hull and each hull is packed with wrapped fireproof foam. Power here is via a pair of 140HP Suzukis with counter rotating Solas Props. With 680 litres of fuel at their disposal these "Suzies" will be amazingly economical, quiet and they'll allow the cat an excellent range. Perfect for those who want to run out to the shelf in search of bluefin or cruise up and down the coast to that perfect spot no-one else knows about. The Suzukis under the control of Hydrive hydraulic steering, will push the cat up to 40 knots or cruise comfortably at 23 to 35 knots. Despite the fact that the CCC walkaround has the widest walkways I've ever seen and excellent space made for fishing off the nose, allowance has still been made for two to sleep in the forward cabin. Whilst we're talking accomodation I should mention the portable chemical toilet, the 60 litre water tank, the fresh water shower and the fridge (which will be new when the boat is delivered to the new owner and which is kept running all day by the 80 watt Solarex solar panel). The vessel also features a very large cockpit bimini butted up to a hardtop with front and side clears.....good protection form harmful UV. Whilst we're talking the boat itself let's make mention of the oiled teak decking, the stern access door, the lockup cabin, the mesh midgee screens. The fishing gear is fantastic, stainless steel tuna tower, 6 drawer Plano style tackle locker, SS rocket launcher, 50 litre plumbed live baitwell, custom baitboard and bait prep table, raw water deck washdown and Reelax gunwhale mounted outriggers and poles. The electronics include Furuno 1650F combo GPS, sounder (dual frequency) 27 meg radio, VHF radio and a brand new Kenwood CD/AM/FM radio system. Naturally a serious vessel like this includes all the safety gear including a 406 EPIRB, 4 Rule bilge pumps and a Whale 10 manual bilge pump with a wandering hose to every compartment.
