In Survey..Sail Single Handed ..Superbly Maintained

Currently in bareboat charter, with the option for the buyer that the vessel remain in the fleet and earning maintenance costs and some dollars for the new owner's own vacation fun. Or, the vessel is available as a sailaway proposition.

Roger Hill desined these lovely 10.7 metre cats to make life simple for newcomers to the world of cruising. Gone is the normal reluctance to "go about" without objections, the cat "points up" much better than your usual sailing multi and all sheets, halyards, lines etc lead back to a line of Anderson 40ST winches and Harken jammers on the cabin turret. This ensures that the 35 can be handled from the cockpit area, making the 35 a snack for a couple to manage. The cockpit area (enhanced by the vessel's 6 metre beam) is well laid out with a driving station set up port side in a nice vantage position and incorporating a good view of the luff on the headsail. A nice lounge an "L" shaped dinette and a stainless steel BBQ complete the picture. This are is easily accessed from the stern swim platforms by steps at the rear of each sponson. A bifold door leads to the saloon, a fully lined area with settee and dinette a small navigation area and the galley complete with two burner benchtop , sink, stove, fridge, freezer, LCD TV/DVD, CD stereo system, excellent storage and well lit with large windows and a hatch right behind the mast. This area is comfortable an open plan, just the ticket for a little R & R with a glass of chardonnay or two. The Tasman sleeps 6 (3 x doubles with fans) has an onsuite and an "anyones" head plus a hot and cold shower in the cockpit. 600 litres of water keep the holiday makers clean and window shades, a bimini and a sun awning protect sailors from harmful UV. Auxillary propulsion is via a pair of Volvo Penta 28HP diesels with saildrive which will "putt putt" along happily at 6 knots using 5 litres per hour each from the 250 litre supply. The 35 packs Allyacht mast and boom, a fully battened main, a self furling headsail, Anderson winches, Harken jammers and a boom bag. This package has no problem at all in pushing the cat along at 6 to 7 knots in light breezes. This is an ideal cruising vessel, well sorted for extended trips, suitable for beginners or experienced sailors and with the added option of leaving it an an idyllic marine area and earning back some of the purchase price with charter.
