Fraser 31...Diesel/Shaft All aboard for Australia Day!! Yes, she's a Volvo 70c diesel and she is shaft driven!! Economical to run and cheap to maintain, this Fraser 31 is the ultimate family crusier. Carries 500 litres of diesel and will cruise at 15 knots using a paltry 29 litre per hour. V-berth has four singles or two singles and a double and the galley has a 2 burner meths stove, 12v 240v fridge/freezer & ice box and she carries 200 litres of water and has a 35 litre 240v/off manifold hot water system. She is powered by a 2000 Johnson 175 hp (done about 225 hours)  The motor has a 200 litre fuel tank, and spark is via twin batteries with an islolator switch. We have history on her going back two owners. I had a beer with the current owners in Silver Gull Creek (in the Kimberly WA) in May this year and the first photo of her is one I took on that day. After originally sailing her from Two Rocks (near Perth) to Broome and spending a year or so sailing the fabulous waters up there, the young family owners then took several months off to sail her from Broome to Darwin with heaps of stops along the way. View Listing > Cougar Wildcat Ferry This 13 metre GRP cat is in New Zealand survey and is powered by a twin Volvo TAMD 122P 6 cylinder turbo diesels coupled to 291 Hamilton Jets (Approximately 2600 hours on each, installed  in 2000) making her manoeuvrable and able to operate in shallow waters. The vessel in fact currently operates in smooth waters, but has been used extensively in the south of NZ, capable of handling some fairly lousy conditions. She carries 2,000 litres of diesel in 2 x 1,000 Litre tanks. She has Furuno PS8000 color Plotter-GPS-Sounder,  a Furuno PS8000 radar. She is 5 metres in length and is a very well constructed craft with full internal moulded fibreglass liner and although it is of the same round bilge displacement type of hull as say, a Pilot, it has a far superior finish. A nice 425 Mangrove, easy to handle easy to launch, cheap as chips to run, bay estuary or river.  The entire outfit was delivered in 2004, but only has 25 hours clocked up on the 40 HP Mercury Lightning XR with power trim and tilt (yet to have a major service) that usage over the last four years. Thus the owner's decision to sell (let's face it, he isn't using the boat).
