Is it the right time to sell my boat? We've sold boats all year round, in all conditions, for over 9 years. If you list your boat for sale at a fair price and someone makes you an acceptable offer, it doesn't matter what time of year it is or what the economic conditions are.
Will my contact details be published on the internet? Do I have to worry about scams, hoaxes and other threats? Not on our website. We take enquiries on your behalf, filter out the junk and you will know exactly who we've given your contact details to.
What about a legal sales contract, in case something goes wrong? Boatlocator provides a "contract for sale by offer and acceptance" that spells out the deal to protect buyer and seller.
How will I get paid for the sale of my vessel? Will someone have your boat while you wait for their cheque to clear? The buyer takes delivery when their funds are clear in an independent trust account and all their conditions have been met. They know they'll get the boat as described and you know you'll get the money.
